A couple of tips on buying a puppy. There are so many breeds of dogs to choose from and so many breeders of those dogs to choose from.
1) I encourage all buyers to check out a breeders facility or kennels.
2) Some people don't realize all of the different registries there are. In my opinion, AKC is the best registry. 3) Always look at the parents of the puppies.
4) Ask to see the pedigree or lineage of the puppies. You don't want an inbred dog.
5) Take your puppy to the vet as soon as you get it home and have it checked out.
6) Ask about limited and unlimited registration. Limited means that you don't have breeding rights. Unlimited, of course, means that you do have breeding rights.
To tell you a little about my operation. I have four breeding females and one male. This number allows me to still be able to give them the attention, care, and love they need. I have indoor/outdoor kennels which are heated and cooled. These are indoor dogs and need to be kept warm and cool. My dogs get regular baths and their beds are washed at that time. I take them to the groomer twice a year. My dogs are very active and love to run and play. They are let out every day to play, and at that time, their kennels are cleaned. The main reason they are kenneled at all is to keep them safe and protected from the weather and to keep my house from smelling like a kennel! Ha!
My pregnant females get to stay in the house where they get extra pampering. They have a special crate set up in my bedroom where they give birth. The puppies remain in the house until they are around 5 weeks old. They are then moved to the kennels where they learn very quickly how to walk up the ramp to the dogie door to go in and out of their own private little room. This helps them, in a way, start house training themselves. I don't give shots myself. I take my puppies to a great vet in town where they are checked over thoroughly.
I feed only the best food. I've tried several different brands of food and researched others. Blue Buffalo seems to be the best for my dogs. It has only natural ingredients with no corn.
If you have any other question, please feel free to ask. I'm still learning and improving what I do all of the time. :)
Happy buying!

Lee's Lil Jewel
Meet Jewel! She is my second to youngest female. She has a very sweet and loving disposition which her puppies seem to inherit. She is Brighton's full sister from a different litter. She weighs around 6lbs and is silver and tan in color. Jewel is pregnant with her second litter and she is due the second week of June. Leo is the sire. I'm very excited about this next litter. She had very small puppies last year and I expect the same this time as well!

Brighton's female pup
This is one of Brighton's female puppies with eyes open!! All of the females are around the same size and they all look exactly alike at the moment. They don't start looking different until after 6 weeks or so and even then, it's hard to tell them apart. Funny, but scary story: after work, I went to check on the puppies before heading to Huntsville and 2 were out of their crate, 1 was in the middle of the floor and 2 were missing! Brighton, for some crazy reason, had tried to move them outside. She had two under a sand box in the middle of the yard! I found them in the dirt. I was so aggravated with her. They are 2 weeks old and I've never had a mama try to move her puppies, especially outside away from me. I'm not sure why she did it. I changed the puppies bedding thinking maybe that was the problem. I have a doggie door in my room. I'm hoping she won't try it again. She could hurt them or a snake could get them! She left them there through the night. I'll have to go home and check on her today. Crazy dog!!

Lee's Prowln' Liam
Meet Liam! He is out of Cinderella's Feb 2010 litter of puppies. His sire is my Leo. I kept him for a while, thinking that I might use him as a second stud. I later decided to sell him and find a stud that was from a different blood line than my other dogs. Before I sold him, I bred him one time and now I have a litter from him. I bred him to Brighton and he did his job well! She had five babies, posted below, which is a lot for a yorkie, and the most I've had in a long while. If you are interested in puppies, please contact me anytime!!
To give an example of how tolerant my dogs are with each other: in the back, looking at the camera, is Cinderella. In the front, curled up, is her grown daughter from her first litter, Ariel, and the three black blobs around them are Cinder's 5 week old puppies. They were all trying to cram into the one little dog bed. It was so funny, I had to get a picture. ((Just a note, there was another bed on the opposite wall.)) Ha!!
(Abby) Brighton's '10 puppy
Meet Abby! These are before owner and then after owner pictures. She was the smallest puppy in Brighton's litter from 2010. She is almost 9 mths now, full grown, and weighs under 3lbs! She is a dark gold and black like her mama. Her owner says that she goes everywhere with her. I love to see pictures and hear stories about my past puppies. I feel like I'm contributing to people's happiness. :)
Brighton's April 9, 2011 babies
Here is two out of five of my puppies from my second litter this year. There are three females and two males.
I have a small hand and they both fit! Mama's name is Brighton, sire is Liam, and this is her second litter.
She is a great mother. This is the quietest litter I've had yet.
All of my babies are born in my room and stay there until 5-6 weeks. They are then transferred out to the indoor/outdoor kennels where they learn to go through a doggie door and in a way house train themselves. All of my dogs are let out to play everyday in my very large back yard. All of my mama dogs are very tolerant of each other's puppies. All puppies becomes very socialized with dogs and children.

Paisley
This is Paisley, Ariel's puppy. Her owner sends pictures of her occasionally and I love watching her grow and change colors! She's taking her to some type of yorkie meet-up in Fort Worth to hang out with other yorkie owners. I'll have to find out more and post about it later.

Lee's Prowln Leonardo
Meet Leo! He is an adorable, vivacious, 3 lb, male who definitely know what his job is. He is the sire of my last five litters. He has a very easy going temperment, but will not tolerate other males around his girls. He only has eyes for "the girls" and could really care less where I am unless they are not around. He has thrown me some very pretty puppies.
Lee's Prince Louie
This is my new little guy Louie. He was born December 2010. I've been thinking about getting a second stud male so that I could start keeping one of my own female puppies if I wanted. I looked off and on for about a year. I finally decided to keep one of my own males, but I could have only bred him with two of my females' puppies. So I decided to sell him and started looking once more for a new male. I finally found two of the cutest puppies around Dallas. I went to look at them and fell in love. Both males looked almost exactly the same. It was very hard to pick between them. I finally decided on this little guy and I have not regretted it! He and I already have a strong bond. He has the greatest personality. He weighed 1.07 lbs at his 14 week check up. I'm really looking forward to seeing how big he will mature.
Cinderella's '11 puppies
These three cuties are Cinderella's third set of puppies. They were born February 9, 2011. The two females have a home and sweet little Jack is looking for a home now. He is the smallest of the litter and should mature to weigh aroun 4 lbs like his brother from a previous litter. Aren't they cute!!

Ariel's '10 puppies
This is little Perry (top) and Paisley (bottom). They were my smallest puppies yet. Perry went to San Antonio to a very nice family. Paisley's new owner had her name picked out before she met her, but it fits her perfectly. I enjoy receiving pictures from her occasionally. She adores her.
Lee's Lil Ariel
This is my sweet Ariel. She is one of Cinderella's puppies. She is very much a little lady. She is my youngest and smallest female. She weighs 4.9lbs and has the pretties silver coat. She just had her first litter in Dec. '10, a male and female. She is an excellent mother.
Lee's Cinderella Sky
Meet Lee's Cinderella Sky. She is my most mature female yorkie. I raised her from a puppy out of my very first yorkie, Bella, who I have since retired and found a new home. She is 6lbs with the color blue and tan. She is very lady like. She is the head dog, but you would never know it. She doesn't have to constantly tell they others, they just seem to know. March 9, 2011 was her 3rd litter. She is an excellent mother and has beautiful babies.
